Rogues in WoW Arena
The arena rogue should go after the opponent they can kill the fastest to get them out of the way. This is what the rogue is good at after all. To achieve this, the rogue will find it very helpful to have the best rogue arena weapons and rogue arena gear which will increase his dps as much as possible. The arena rogue is also good at stunning his opponents to keep them immobilized and ineffective. If the rogue can incapacitate one opponent, that allows his arena team to focus on the other opponents. This will require communication amongst the team but when executed correctly will allow the rogue’s team to retain control of the battle and win to get more arena points.
One of the arena rogue’s best attributes is his stealth ability. This allows the arena rogue to sneak up on his opponent and strike first without being detected. However, warlocks can sense invisibility which is dangerous and could lead to the rogue being ambushed instead of the other way around. When entering the arena, the WoW rogue should always try to measure up his opponents first. If there is a warlock in the picture, stealth with caution. If the battle isn’t going in the rogue’s favor, he can also vanish, get out of the way, and bandage up. Another tip is to always stay within range of the healer.
The arena rogue’s stealth and stun abilities and his ability to do massive dps will make him an important member of the arena team. Of course this will require tact of knowing when to take which action and team communication so that the rogue’s crowd control efforts aren’t in vain. Good rogue arena weapons and rogue arena gear will also give a noticeable advantage in the amount of dps the rogue can do in the World of Warcraft.
