Depending on the spec, the arena shaman can wear any armor piece from the Gladiator's Thunderfist, Earthshaker, or Wartide set. The Gladiator's Thunderfist set adds spell damage, thus best suited for Elemental shamans who enjoy hurling bolts of Chain Lightning and Shocks to give any arena opponent a major heart attack. If the arena shaman prefers to focus on melee combat instead, then the Gladiator's Earthshaker is the arena armor of choice. Enhancement shamans would wear the Earthshaker, enabling them to deal an insane burst of melee damage through a Windfury of Stormstrikes. Finally, Gladiator's Wartide set increases healing effects, therefore Restoration shamans would make best use of it. Finding a 2v2 arena combo partner is much easier as a Resto shaman because who wouldn't want an Earth Shield? So select the type of PvP arena armor for your shaman on World of Warcraft and Yeh! for Games, Inc. will start this week grinding for your shaman arena gear. Shaman Arena Rewards: Rules & Policies
Shamans in WoW Arena
When playing World of Warcraft arenas, there are certain Shaman spells that are especially useful. Nature's Swiftness is an instant heal that the Shaman can use when damage pressure is on. This one can be the deciding factor in a battle when both you and your opponent are down to your last hit points. Use Ghost Wolf at the beginning of a battle to make it harder for the other team to see you. The less time they have to figure out what they’re going to do the better. Totems are a great asset that can give you the upper hand in several situations. If your shaman is up against a class that can fear you, throw down your tremor totem. If you get feared it will zerk you out of it, wasting your opponent’s mana, and you don’t need to use a trinket. Grounding totems
One important factor in your strategy will be your specialization. Restoration Shamans are very useful in arenas. They have great healing abilities, especially with the right shaman arena gear, which will make the shaman a huge asset in any size arena. The shaman’s ability to heal himself and his armor also make him very hard to kill. If you play the 2v2 arenas as a restoration spec, a good partner for the shaman is a warrior. Your heals plus the warrior’s damage will give your team a huge advantage from the get-go and allow upi to rack up those arena points.
The other option for WoW Shamans is Elemental Spec. In the arenas, Shamans with elemental spec are damage monsters, especially with Shaman arena gear like the Gladiator's Thunderfist set. An elemental shaman in arenas should try to win the match as soon as possible. Pick who you’re going to kill first and focus your damage. If the arena match drags on you will run out of mana fast and be done for.
