The defensive Death Knight in Warsong Gultch BG should focus on interrupting the healers who heal the flag carrier. With their Mind Freeze ability, they can lock out a healer from healing for up to 4 seconds. To counter Druid heals on the flag carrier, using the Deathknight's Degeneration ability to corrupt heal over time spells will prove vital against Druid heals. While chasing after the other team's flag carrier, Death Knights can use Death's Grip to pull the flag carrier back to them if they start to get away too far. The offensive Death Knight in WSG should cast Anti-Magic Shell often to keep the flag carrier from spell harm.
A Death Knight's Raise Dead spell, which conjures a Ghoul pet, is very important in Arathi Basin. The Deathknight can use the pet ghoul to defend a flag if he or she is stunned or immobilized. If the Death Knight finds himself outnumbered at his flag post, he can use Hungering Cold to AoE freeze everyone in place, buying enough time to call for help from his allies.
Death Knights in Alterac Valley battleground are great since they have a lot of AoE spells, such as Unholy Blight and Death and Decay. With their plate armor and AoE abilities, they can charge pass the front lines and AoE a group of enemies and survive much better than cloth-wearing mage bombs.
