Paladins have 3 choices as part of their PvP honor rewards: the Aegis, Vindication, or Redemption set. The Vindication armor set is for Retribution paladins that want to DPS in PvP duels or arena combat. Holy paladins who purely heal would spend their honor points for the Redemption set; if they would prefer to do some extra DPS whiling healing at the same time, the Aegis PvP honor set would be best.

Paladin PvP Honor Rewards Rules
Paladins in WoW PvP Battlegrounds
Usually the key role for the paladin in battlegrounds is healer. The healing ability and volume can make or break any battle, so this is an honorable role. However, some PvP paladins don’t enjoy healing as much, so another option is to spec to do more damage and just concentrate on dps while throwing out the occasional heal. The battleground paladin can also spec in protection, and since he will be a popular target since he is usually expected to be a healer he can keep the enemy occupied longer while they try to kill him. A nice hybrid spec for the battleground paladin is Holy and DPS, where his primary role is still that of healer but he can move in and do some nice dps when needed. This build leaves the paladin low on survivability however, which can then be improved with the right paladin PvP gear. If the paladin chooses to be primarily a healer, he should always try to get plate armor with healing bonuses instead of mail or cloth healing gear. There are many plate PvP paladin armor sets that give great healing bonuses. In BGs, the longer the paladin healer can survive, the more he can help his whole team and ultimately win more pvp honor points.
If the paladin is being heavily targeted in the battlegrounds, he can throw on his bubble. The opponents will then target his other teammates, giving the paladin time to heal up and heal his team as well. The BG paladin should save his bubble for when he really needs it, using a PvP trinket when he gets polymorphed or feared instead.
The paladin can only be a useful healer if he has mana, so spells that drain or burn his mana can be devastating when they stack up, especially in a battleground group battle. If this happens, the PvP paladin should be ready to use a stun such as hammer of justice or even go out of range to keep his mana supply intact. Make sure he has paladin PvP gear that restores mana every few seconds to keep this problem at a minimum.
